The grocery receipt audit caught a $42 overcharge I almost missed

Last week at the Winco in Tacoma, I stood at the self-checkout and actually compared every line to the shelf tags after a hunch. Three items rang up at the regular price instead of the sale price, which added up to $42 over what I should have paid. Has anyone else started checking receipts line by line at the register? It takes two extra minutes but it feels like free money every time.
