TIL paying my car insurance yearly instead of monthly saves me $180

Switched to an annual plan last month after doing the math at 2AM, and the discount was way bigger than I expected. They basically charge a fee for splitting it into 12 payments. Has anyone else found big savings just by changing how often you pay a bill?
