Always used plywood drawers, tried solid wood after 9 years in the shop

Tbh I thought hardwood drawers were just a flex until a client in Portland asked me to rebuild their kitchen with dovetailed oak and the difference in how smoothly they slide and how quiet they close made me dump my plywood stockpile, anyone else made the jump and noticed the long term fit issues?

Man, I switched once and now my cheap self can't stop crying every time I see plywood prices!
