Just figured out a weird trick for getting drawer fronts perfectly flush

I was installing a set of inset drawers and the gap on the right side was off by maybe 1/16th... it was driving me nuts. Instead of adjusting the slides again, I put a tiny dab of wood glue on the back of the drawer box corner and clamped it overnight. The slight swelling pulled everything into perfect alignment. Has anyone else used wood movement to their advantage like that?

That swelling will shrink back later.

My last wood glue fix was a kitchen chair. It's still holding strong, but now the door won't shut. Guess I swelled the wrong thing.
