PSA: a shop in Portland told me MDF dust is way worse than I thought

Stopped by a cabinet shop in Portland while visiting my brother and the owner said their insurance carrier now asks for dust collection records going back two years. He showed me a report from 2023 saying fine MDF dust settles deeper in your lungs than plain sawdust because the particles are smaller and the resin makes it worse. Do any of you keep a log of your dust collector maintenance, or is that just a Portland thing?
