Spent 20 minutes hunting a rattle in a finished cherry cabinet, turned out to be a dime in the drawer
Client called me back to a kitchen in Boise because every time they opened the silverware drawer they heard a clink and thought a joint was loose. I pulled the drawer out, ran my hand along every glue line, checked the slides twice, and finally flipped the drawer over, where a 1998 dime had been rattling around under the false bottom for who knows how long. Anyone else ever chase a phantom noise that turned out to be loose change, or is it always a screw I forgot to sink?
