That one Tuesday where everything went right
A few months ago I had a day where I finished a full custom library built-in by 3pm. The miters came out perfect on the first try and the customer's wife actually cried happy tears when she saw it. She kept saying "it's exactly what I dreamed of" and that made all the late nights worth it. Anyone else have a job that just clicked from start to finish?

Tbh that line about her saying "it's exactly what I dreamed of" really hit me. When a customer gets that emotional over your work, it's a whole different level of satisfaction. Ngl those perfect miters are a unicorn moment in carpentry, especially on the first try. It's like the universe finally decided to give you a break and let everything line up. Really happy you got to experience that, man.
