Hit 1000 hours of listening to conspiracy podcasts and something clicked
I was scrolling through my podcast app last night and noticed I've listened to over 1000 hours of conspiracy theory shows since 2020. That number caught me off guard because I didn't think I was that deep into it. What surprised me most is how many of the 'crazy' predictions from 2021 actually came true in small ways. Has anyone else looked at their total listening time and realized they've been paying more attention than they thought?

@jade271 that line about official stories needing more faith hit home for me. I've found the best approach is to treat every claim like a test not a belief. For every conspiracy I hear, I try to find one specific thing I can verify myself that week. Started doing that after I hit around 800 hours and it helped me sort the real patterns from the noise. The trick is to keep a running list of things that turned out to be partially true too, like the 2021 predictions you mentioned, so you can track what actually connects.

And the real kicker is how the boring official stories keep requiring more faith than the conspiracies do.
