Rant: A guy in the Denver subreddit tore apart my moon landing argument

I posted my usual thing about the shadows not matching and the flag waving, thinking it was solid. This user, who said he was an aerospace engineer from Boulder, broke it down point by point with the actual math on lunar surface reflectivity. He explained the flag movement with the lack of air resistance and the way they planted it. I had to change my whole approach because I was just repeating stuff I saw in a documentary. Now I dig into primary sources before I post. Anyone else had their go-to theory completely dismantled by someone with real expertise?

That's the best way to learn, honestly.

Totally. It's wild how much you pick up just by doing stuff, you know? Like, you can read all the manuals you want, but you don't really get it until you're in the thick of it.
