Tried testing the moon landing math myself and got a number that bugs me

I spent two hours last Saturday checking the Apollo 11 fuel math with a calculator and a NASA PDF, and my numbers came out about 8% off from what they publish. Now I'm stuck: did I mess up the unit conversion, or is there something they don't explain well? Anyone here actually run those numbers and get a clean match?
