Unpopular opinion: I think the moon landing skepticism crowd is ignoring the actual evidence

I spent last weekend going back and forth with a guy on Reddit who kept saying the 1969 moon landing was faked. He pointed to shadows in photos and the flag waving. So I pulled up NASA's own data on the lunar surface reflectors that scientists still use today to measure the moon's distance. You can bounce a laser off those things right now from an observatory, which proves something was placed up there. The shadow stuff just comes from uneven ground and wide angle lenses. Has anyone else run into this specific reflector argument and how did you counter it?

Yeah, I've had that same exact debate. It's exhausting when you present clear evidence like the laser reflectors and they just pivot to something else.

And a buddy of mine actually ran into this at a family dinner last month. He showed his uncle the live feed from the rovers and the laser reflector data from the moon landing sites, and the guy just said "well that's what they want you to see" and changed the subject to chemtrails. My friend told me he felt like he was talking to a brick wall that could pivot faster than a politician. Sometimes you just have to accept that no amount of proof will ever be enough for some people.
