Went to the Hoover Dam last week and noticed something weird about the visitor logs

I finally took a trip to the Hoover Dam after years of hearing about it. While waiting in line, I checked the guest book and saw the same name signed in twice on the same day, but in different handwriting. The staff lady just shrugged when I asked about it and said "book's been acting up for months." Has anyone else spotted weird entries at major tourist spots like that?

I read a article once about the Lake Mead visitor center having similar issues with their logs, some names appearing multiple times in different styles. Apparently it's sometimes just tired employees messing up, but other folks online think it could be bored locals playing pranks. I'd probably just shrug it off like that staff lady did, even if it is pretty odd to see the same person "signing in" twice on one day.

Whoa wait, same person signing in twice in one day? That's wild. Like, did they just forget they already did it and walk back in for round two? I could see someone being that distracted on a bad day I guess, but still.
