I used to pull up twisted carrots, now I leave them be
Always thought straight veggies were the only good ones, tossed anything ugly straight to the compost pile. Then my neighbor in Boise made me try one of her gnarled, split carrots last August and it was honestly the sweetest I've had all year. Anyone else find the mutant ones taste better, or is it just me?
