My carrot harvest looked like alien fingers this year
Turns out if you don't thin your seedlings enough, the carrots get all twisted and forked trying to grow around each other. I pulled up one that looked like a octopus leg, but it still tasted just fine in the soup I made last night. Anyone else have mutant veggies that saved dinner?

...and that octopus leg thing got me because I once pulled up a carrot that looked exactly like a badly drawn hand, five little digits and all. I was too scared to eat it raw, but I diced it into a stew and honestly it was the sweetest one of the bunch. Weird shapes just mean they worked harder to survive, I guess.
