The zucchini that took 6 weeks to admit it was a cucumber
I planted what I thought were zucchini seeds from a packet I found in my shed, but after 8 weeks of waiting and nothing but tiny green blobs, I finally looked up the seed packet online and it was a cucumber mix I'd grabbed by mistake. The leaves looked so similar and I kept blaming my soil or the weird spring rain in Portland, so I never thought to check the label before I tossed it. Has anyone else spent forever troubleshooting a dumb seed mix-up instead of just reading the packet first?
