Client told me my writing sounded "too corporate" and it took me 3 days to unlearn that
A client in Barcelona last month read my draft for their travel blog and said it read like a LinkedIn article from 2018. I was trying to sound professional and they wanted actual human language. Rewrote the whole thing in 45 minutes using short sentences and words my mom would use. They loved it. Now I reread everything out loud before sending. Anybody else get feedback that totally flipped how you work?
