Coworking spaces in Bali are worse than I thought, heres why

I swore by coworking memberships for years until I spent a week at Dojo in Canggu and the internet dropped 5 times during a client call. Realized the cafes with prepaid WiFi vouchers are actually more reliable here. Anyone else find coworking spaces just too crowded for focused work?

Big coworking spots like Dojo are basically just glorified hostels with desks now. The whole point of paying for a desk is supposed to be reliable power and internet, but you're dealing with the same problems as a crowded cafe except you're paying 10x more. I've had calls drop mid sentence at three different coworking spots in Ubud and Canggu now, it's not just a Dojo thing. The WiFi voucher cafes work better because they're smaller and less people are hammering the bandwidth at once. Plus you're not fighting for an outlet against some guy with a gaming laptop and three monitors. The coworking model got too popular too fast and the infrastructure just can't keep up.

Three wifi outages in one hour is my new record, and I wasn't even trying.
