Finally built a proper desk setup in a hostel common room in Lisbon

I mean, last week I was working from my bunk bed with a laptop on a pillow and my neck was killing me. So I grabbed a folding table from the hostel staff, dragged it to a quiet corner near the window, and stacked some books to get my screen at eye level. It cost me zero dollars and about 20 minutes of setup, but my posture is way better and I actually got a full shift of client work done without taking breaks. Has anyone else found good spots in hostels or shared spaces that beat paying for a coworking desk?
