Found a cheap coworking hack in Chiang Mai that saved me $200 a month

I was burning through cash at those trendy coworking spots in Nimman, paying $150 a month just for a desk. Then a guy at a coffee shop told me about a library card at the Chiang Mai University library. It costs like $3 for the whole year and the wifi is actually faster than most coworking places. I just bring my noise-canceling headphones and work there 4 days a week now. The only downside is closing at 8pm, but I just shift my schedule earlier. Has anyone else found hidden cheap workspaces in other nomad hubs?

Used to think library workspaces were kinda sketchy but you honestly sold me on this. Gonna try the public library route next time I'm in a new city instead of dropping cash on overpriced desks.

Found free desks at public libraries in Lisbon too, just needed a visitor pass for the wifi.
