Hit my 100th city as a nomad and felt nothing
I passed 100 cities on my tracker last week. Bangkok was number 100. But I was more excited about hitting 50. Has anyone else felt less satisfaction with bigger milestones than smaller ones?

Yeah the first 50 felt way bigger cause every new city was fresh. By 100 it's just another stamp in the passport. The magic wears off when you've seen enough airport terminals and hostel dorms to know they all blur together. You're collecting numbers at that point, not experiences.

Has anyone noticed how the social media pressure changes once you hit triple digits? Nobody posts their 101st country because the algorithm rewards those early, shiny milestones and the rest feels like showing off. Your actual stories get buried under the weight of a number that means less the higher it goes.
