Just hit 100 different cafes worked from in the last 18 months, mostly in Lisbon and Bangkok.
It hit me that I've spent more on coffee and croissants this year than I did on my health insurance, which is a weird digital nomad math problem I wasn't expecting.

That's the nomad life, my coffee budget could probably cover a mortgage!

Andrew Kelly, how much coffee are you even drinking?

Maybe it's just me but spending that much on coffee sounds wild. I used to be a coffee shop every day person too but eventually I realized I was throwing away money I could use for actual stuff like savings or a nice dinner out. A good thermos and some decent beans at home can save you a ton. I get the convenience factor but a mortgage payment worth of coffee in a month feels like you're bleeding cash for caffeine. Different priorities I guess but that always seemed extreme to me.
