Just realized most people mistake coworking for actual networking

I see so many nomads sitting in the same cafe every day scrolling their phones thinking they're building connections. Back in 2018 when I started, I actually spoke to the person next to me and landed two freelance gigs that way. Has anyone else noticed this shift away from real conversations?

Wait you actually got gigs from just chatting up strangers at coworking spots? That's wild man I figured everyone just kept their headphones on and pretended not to exist.
