My hotspot died in Lisbon, then I found a co-work hack for free

Last month my portable router gave out during a client call in Lisbon, right at the Alfama cafe I always use. I tried the library and a paid space, both were packed or pricey at 15 euros a day. Then a barista told me about the LX Factory coworking lounge that lets you work for free if you buy one 3 euro coffee before noon. Has anyone else stumbled onto hidden free workspaces in touristy spots, or is this just a lucky Lisbon thing?

The "free if you buy a coffee before noon" part is the catch, since most places that offer that expect you to pack up by lunchtime. Just double-check if the lounge kicks you out at 12, or you might be hunting for a new spot mid-call like I was.
