My "office with a view" went from inspiring to depressing in about 3 weeks

Started out in a hostel in Medellin with this rooftop garden setup, amazing vibes, 20 dollars a night. Then the rainy season hit and the WiFi died every afternoon around 2pm, and the ants found my laptop bag. I spent more time hunting for a dry spot to take calls than actually working. Has anyone else had a perfect digital nomad spot just totally fall apart on them?

Yeah but @wilson.emma, is it REALLY that bad or did you just have one rainy afternoon and decide the whole place is ruined? People act like a little weather is the end of the world.

Mans went from paradise to finding bugs in his laptop bag real quick, that's a whole different kind of "bug fix" lol. Bet the ants thought they were paying rent with all the snacks they found in there. Hope you found a spot with actual walls before the rain turned your laptop into a swimsuit.
