My WiFi died in the middle of a cafe in Medellin and I actually felt relieved
I was working from a busy cafe in Medellin last Tuesday when the internet went out for everyone. I sat there for a solid 10 minutes before I realized I wasn't stressed at all, just happy to watch people walk by. It hit me that I've been grinding way too hard on this client project (a Shopify store for a candle maker) and forgot why I started this digital nomad thing in the first place. Has anyone else had that moment where a technical failure actually felt like a gift instead of a disaster?

DUDE this EXACT thing happened to me in a hostel in Lisbon. I was losing my mind trying to fix some client's email campaign and the whole network crashed for like an hour. I sat on the rooftop and just watched the sunset over the rooftops. Realized I hadn't actually looked at the sky in weeks. It was honestly the best thing that could have happened. That candle shop project can wait, right?

Wait, that rooftop sunset moment sounds way more meaningful than fixing some email campaign, doesn't it? Sometimes I think the universe just yanks the plug to remind us we're not machines.
