That coworking space owner was right about noise cancelling headphones
A guy who runs a coworking space in Chiang Mai told me to ditch my cheap earbuds and get proper over-ear ANC headphones. I thought he was just trying to sell me on some expensive brand. After three months of trying to code in cafes and buses with traffic noise bleeding through, I finally caved and bought a pair. Honestly, the difference is insane - I can actually focus in loud places now. Anyone else have gear advice from locals that ended up being spot on?

Spent two months convincing myself my ten dollar earbuds were fine while my brain slowly melted on a bus in Bangkok. Idk, maybe I just really needed to learn the hard way that you get what you pay for.
