Used to think coworking spaces were a waste of money until I tried one in Chiang Mai for a month

I was dead set against paying $150 a month for a desk when I could just work from cafes or my apartment. But after 3 weeks of bad WiFi and buying overpriced coffee just to sit somewhere, I caved and tried Punspace. Having actual quiet zones and reliable internet saved me like 10 hours a week of frustration. Now I get why people budget for them. Anyone else change their mind on coworking after a bad cafe experience?

Is it just me or does paying for something you used to get free always feel weird until it saves you time?

Lol I felt this in my soul. Paid for a meal prep service once because I was too tired to cook and then spent 20 minutes arguing with myself that I could have just made a sandwich for free. Then I remembered the sandwich would be sad and this meal was actually hot and good so I shut up and ate it. My wallet hates me but my stomach is happy.
