Why does nobody talk about finding quiet places to take client calls while traveling?

I landed in Lisbon last month and spent 3 hours wandering around trying to find a spot with stable wifi and no street noise for a 2pm Zoom call, thinking it would take maybe 20 minutes. Eventually I ended up booking a last-minute co-working day pass for $25 just to get 15 minutes of peace before the meeting started. Has anyone else struggled with this or found a hack for scoping out quiet zones fast?

My buddy Dave had a call in Bangkok last month and ended up taking it from a hostel lobby bathroom stall because the coffee shop next door had a jackhammer going. He said the echo was terrible but at least the wifi held up.

Dude, that's exactly the kind of thing that happens to me too. @felix_coleman87 I once had a call from the back of a rental car in Mexico City because the street outside was a total construction zone, and I ended up yelling over the air conditioner for 20 minutes. The wifi was great though, so I guess that's a win.
