Found out the hard way that house numbers need to be visible at night

I spent 60 bucks on fancy brushed aluminum numbers that look great in daylight but completely disappear when the porch light is off. Last week a delivery driver knocked on my neighbor's door at 9pm because they couldn't see my address from the street. Has anyone else had this problem, and what did you switch to that actually works in the dark?

Ugh, same thing happened to me with black numbers on a dark house. Switched to white reflective ones and now I can actually spot my own place from the car at night.

Dark numbers add character, white ones just scream Amazon delivery.
