I spent 3 years just using a 24-inch torpedo level for everything around the house. Last month I built a 4-foot high retaining wall in my backyard with those big concrete blocks. By the time I got to row 3 I could see the whole thing leaning back about an inch. A buddy lent me his 6-foot box level and I had to tear down two rows and redo them. That long level caught a bow I never would have seen with my little one. Has anyone else had a project go sideways because you were using the wrong tool?

Went to a Habitat ReStore and left frustrated

Stopped by the Habitat ReStore off Highway 55 yesterday hoping to find a used bathroom vanity. They had maybe three beat up ones and wanted $150 each? I can get a new one from Lowe's for that. The place was a mess too, stuff just thrown on shelves with no organization. I get it's donated goods but why price things like they're vintage treasures.
