Spent $240 on a thermal camera, caught a ghost in my attic insulation

I bought one of those cheap thermal cameras you plug into your phone last month, mostly for hunting air leaks. Turns out my attic had a huge gap behind the knee wall that no amount of feeling around could find. The camera showed a cold streak running right where I'd stuffed some old fiberglass, so I ripped it out and found a hole big enough to throw a football through. Cost me $35 in foam board and cans of spray foam to seal it proper. My heating bill dropped about $18 the next month, so the payback will take forever, but the real win is I found a dead mouse nest back there too. Has anyone else used one of these things and found something way weirder than they expected?
