Had to pick between a 90 degree drill and an offset screwdriver for a tight cabinet job

I was trying to install hinges on a cabinet in my laundry room where there's only 8 inches of clearance between the washer and the wall. Grabbed my buddy's offset screwdriver first and stripped two screws because I couldn't get enough torque, then finally caved and bought a 90 degree drill adapter for $25 at Home Depot. Now I'm wondering if y'all stick with one tool for tight spots or keep both around for different situations?

Wait, did you just try an offset screwdriver first without even trying a right angle drill? That's the rookie move. I've been in that same spot with my own laundry room and learned the hard way. Offset screwdrivers look good on paper but they're garbage for actual torque on cabinet screws. The 90 degree drill adapter was the right call.

Actually most cabinet screws are #8 or #10, not the #12 you mentioned earlier Paul.
