My neighbor's comment on my concrete slab made me redo the whole thing

Poured a 12x16 pad for a shed last month. Thought it looked fine, a few small hollow spots but whatever. My neighbor Bill came over and said 'you're gonna hate yourself in two years when that cracks in the corner'. He showed me where I didn't vibrate the concrete near the rebar. I grumbled but rented a demo hammer and busted it out. Took a whole weekend and an extra 400 bucks in materials. Second pour I borrowed his vibrator and took my time. Now I check every pour with a rod and listen for the dull thud. Has anyone else had to tear out work because someone pointed out something obvious?
