Neighbor chewed me out for using a pressure washer on my deck too close to the house

I had always blasted my deck with a pressure washer every spring, got up close to the siding to clean off mildew. My neighbor Mike came running over last April and said I was probably forcing water behind the siding and into the house wrap. I grumbled about it but looked it up online and yeah, he was right. So now I use a garden hose and a stiff brush for that area near the house, saves me from water damage down the road.

Dude yes, my neighbor basically saved me from doing the same thing. I was inches from blasting my vinyl siding with a power washer until he stopped me.
