Still thinking about that one Saturday last spring when the weather held perfect

I had this crazy good day where every single thing I tried worked on the first try. Replaced a busted fence post, regrouted two shower tiles, and even sealed a drafty window without making a mess. Has anyone else had a day like that where the house just cooperated?

I used to think "cooperated" meant they were actually working together too, but this post changed my mind. It's pretty clear now that it's more like one side just going along to avoid a fight. Divorce takes two people wanting out, not just one giving up. You ever notice how when people say the house "cooperated" it usually means someone just stopped fighting? That's not real cooperation, that's just silence. It makes you wonder what "working together" even means anymore when everyone's just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
