Wasted $120 on a fancy paint sprayer for my living room. Should have just used a roller.
Bought a Wagner sprayer on sale last month because I thought it would save time painting my 12x15 living room. Spent 2 hours masking everything off, then the thing clogged 3 times and left drips everywhere. Ended up rolling the whole thing anyway. What a mess. Has anyone else had bad luck with cheap paint sprayers?

It's funny how we always think the expensive gadget will somehow skip the hard work, but usually just makes a different kind of mess instead. That's kind of how life works though, the simple boring method almost always wins in the end.

Did you read that article about the guy who spent thousands on a fancy bread machine and ended up just using a bowl and his hands anyway? I heard about it on a podcast, and it cracked me up because it's so true with everything in life. You get this shiny thing thinking it'll do all the work, but then you spend the same amount of time cleaning it or messing with settings. Simple stuff might be boring, but at least you know what you're getting into. The expensive stuff just gives you a headache and a bigger mess half the time.
