Had a chat with a retired grower at a coffee shop in Eugene last weekend who told me I was roasting my bowls at way too high a temp
He said I was probably burning off half the terpenes before I even took a hit and suggested dropping from 410F down to around 365F to start, has anyone else noticed a big difference from just lowering the temp a bit?

Honestly, that retired grower might have been onto something else too. I notice when I drop the temp that low, I get way more flavor on the first hit but I also gotta wait longer between bowls because the flower doesn't vape as fast. It's kind of a trade off where you get better taste but your session takes twice as long. Ngl, I kinda prefer the higher temp for a quicker session even if I'm losing some terps, it's just more convenient for me.

Wow, are we really overthinking this that much? @skylerg17 it's a vape not a wine tasting. If you want flavor buy a fresh pack, run it at 340 for one good hit, then bump it up to finish the bowl. Takes the same amount of time and you don't have to sit there waiting like it's a gourmet meal. I've done both ways a hundred times, the flavor difference isn't that dramatic once the first hit is gone anyway.
