My buddy swore I was vaping at way too high a temp
He said I was burning off all the flavor by going above 380F in my Xmax V3. Dropped down to 365F and holy crap, the taste of Blue Dream actually came through like berries instead of burnt popcorn. Has anyone else had a friend save them from bad habits like this?

Start by asking your buddy what temp he runs and try that next. I had a friend tell me I was packing my bowl too tight and that changed EVERYTHING for me. Turns out I was basically suffocating the weed, getting zero airflow and weak hits.

Yeah but "packing too tight" is not the same as suffocating the weed. Airflow issues come from grinding too fine, not just how hard you push it down. I used to pack light but grind super fine, still got no vapor. Switched to a medium grind, packed it a little firmer, hits got way better. Vapor needs some resistance to work right, you just don't want it blocked completely. So temp matters but that grind consistency is the real game changer most people miss.
