Overheard a guy at a dispensary say he only vapes at 350F for flavor

I usually crank mine up to 400F and I'm wondering if I'm missing out on better taste or just being too impatient for clouds, has anyone tested this side by side?

Yeah try it out for a day or two, it's a completely different experience honestly. I was a cloud chaser for the longest time too and always ran hot, but once I actually sat down and did a side by side with my favorite strain, the flavor difference was massive. You lose some of the subtle notes above 380 or so, and those are the ones that really make the strain pop. I still go higher sometimes when I just want a quick hit, but 350-360 has become my sweet spot for savoring it.

Man it's crazy how that applies to everything though, right? Like I've been on a kick with hot sauce lately and same exact deal. You crank the heat high and you can't taste the actual peppers, just the burn. Same with coffee, I used to just chug it black and bitter but once I started paying attention to the roast and temp the whole thing opened up. We're all just rushing past the good stuff without realizing it most of the time.
