Swapped from a conduction vape to a convection one and wow, what a difference

I was using a Pax 3 for like two years and thought it was fine. Got a Mighty+ last month and finally understood what people meant by flavor. The Pax always tasted a bit toasty even at low temps, but the Mighty gives me clean hits all the way through the bowl. Anyone else stick with a meh device way too long before upgrading?

Actually the Pax is a hybrid, not pure conduction, it does some convection too. I ran mine through water and it helped the flavor a lot, but yeah, that Mighty hit is just cleaner from the start.

I mean, if you gotta run it through water just to make it taste halfway decent, maybe the thing isn't as good as people claim... I get that it's a hybrid and all, but my buddy's Pax always left me wanting more from the first hit. The Mighty just does what it's supposed to do right out of the box, no extra steps needed.
