Switched from a glass stem to a silicone whip on my Arizer and the flavor difference is huge

I was using the stock glass stem for about 6 months and thought it was fine. Then my buddy let me try his setup with a silicone whip at his place in Tacoma. The hits were way smoother and I could taste the herb better. So I got a 12 inch whip kit online for $18. First session with Blue Dream last night and it was like tasting it for the first time. Anyone else notice big flavor changes with different air paths?

Wait does the glass really mute the flavor that much? I remember trying my buddies Arizer with the whip and thinking the same thing. That Blue Dream must have tasted incredible. I feel like the silicone just lets more of the terps come through without that glassy taste. Its wild how much difference a small part of the setup can make. I might have to try this myself now.
