TIL that vaping above 390F destroys over half the terpenes in your herb

I read a study on PubMed that said most flavor compounds breakdown past that temp, so now I'm sticking to 365F for my daytime sessions - anyone else adjust their temps after seeing that data?

Doesn't the higher temp actually release more of the active compounds you want?

Man that's exactly what happened to me after I saw that same study. Felt like a total rookie for blasting my sessions at 410F for years not knowing I was just burning off all the good stuff. Switched to 365F for my afternoon sessions and honestly the flavor difference is night and day, way more smooth and you actually taste the herb instead of just heat. Took me a while to adjust to the lower vapor production at first but now I wouldn't go back, the tradeoff is totally worth it for that clean taste.
