Took me 6 months to realize I was packing my vape too tight

I got a Mighty last December and kept wondering why my hits were so weak after the first few puffs. Felt like I was wasting herb and getting no vapor. My buddy came over last week and watched me load the bowl and he started laughing. He said I was cramming it down like I was making an espresso puck and that was blocking all the airflow. Ngl I felt pretty dumb when he showed me how a loose pack with a little gap lets the hot air actually move through. Now I get these nice cloudy hits that last the whole session instead of dying after two minutes. Has anyone else been doing this by accident or am I just special?

Yeah the tight pack tricked me too. Looser is way better.

Wait people actually pack tight on purpose?
