Debate: Do you lead through chaos or structure? My week had both.

Last Tuesday our biggest client threatened to walk after a pricing error. I spent the morning calming everyone down and the afternoon redoing the contract by hand. Then Wednesday was completely dead, no fires, nothing. It made me wonder which style actually works better long term. Do you handle problems as they come or do you plan out every move? Has anyone else had a week that flipped back and forth like that?

My chaos usually comes in the form of a patient who "just has a few questions" while I'm holding a scaler. Tried planning once but my calendar laughed at me.
