Just realized how long it took to get our sales and marketing teams aligned
We had a major disconnect on lead definitions that stalled a new product launch. It took us 7 months of weekly syncs to finally get a shared dashboard everyone would use. Has anyone else had a simple definition issue blow up like that?

Wow, seven months is brutal! What was the actual disagreement on the lead definition? Like, was it about when a lead was "sales-ready" versus just a contact, or something about the source? I've seen teams fight over tiny details like whether a downloaded e-book counts.

Ugh, @nina180, I used to think it was about being sales-ready too, but it was literally just about the source field being mandatory.
