My COO talked me down from killing a project after a 10 minute call yesterday
She pointed out our 3 year retention rate was 82% and said if the product was truly broken that number would be way lower, and honestly I hadn't looked at the data from that angle in months.

Man, that's a rough spot to be in. I've been there where you're so deep in the weeds you forget to look at the big picture stuff. It's wild how one fresh set of eyes and a different data point can totally flip your perspective. Glad your COO had your back on that call, sometimes you just need someone to pull you out of the tunnel vision. Hope you can get some breathing room now.

You gotta have someone who can call you out like that. It helps to build a group of people you trust to give honest feedback on the numbers. Keeps you from getting too stuck in your own head.
