I've been working with them for about 8 months, and it just hit me that I've never had a client stick around that long or need that much work. It made me realize my freelance work is actually stable now, not just a bunch of one-off jobs. Has anyone else had a client become a steady anchor like that?

Got a client like that last year and it changed everything. Started treating them like a real partner, checking in every week even if there wasn't a big task.
