Rant: I see too many people not having a clear contract for small jobs

I just finished a project for a client in Portland who kept asking for 'a few more small tweaks' after we agreed on the final deliverable. This went on for two weeks because I never wrote down what 'final' meant. I know it feels formal for a $500 job, but now I use a simple one-page agreement for every single thing. It lists the exact work, the number of revisions included, and what happens after that. Has anyone found a good, simple contract template they like for short-term freelance work?

Totally get that, it's a lesson you learn the hard way. I grabbed a basic template from a freelancer group and just cut out all the legal fluff. Now even a quick logo sketch gets a clear yes or no list before I start.
